HI! So, the new Disney Pixar movie, Brave, is coming out on 8th August 2012. So that's like one day before National Day and if you're lucky, like in Primary or Secondary school, you'll probably have a half day on school on the 8th so you can watch it after National Day celebrations in school! Then if you're working or in poly or JC, watch during the weekend lah! LOL. I think that's probably what I'll be doing.
I have a lot of heroes and heroines in my life. But I guess if I had to pick one, I'd pick my auntie. She's my mum's sister.
My cousin, her son, is now 16 years old. But he's not a normal 16 year old. He was born with cerebral palsy. And his case is quite severe. He can't walk, can't talk, partially blind, can't talk....yeah the list goes on. And you probably know, it's super hard to take care of a kid with special needs. You need to have a lot of patience. After all, it's not their fault they were born that way. So you have to continually give them love and care, even when you feel like giving up. Which is what mu aunt does.
Then cause last time, their block wasn't upgraded yet so the lift didn't stop on their floor. When my aunt had to bring my cousin for medical appointments or stuff like that, she had to carry him plus the stroller! And his stroller is super heavy cause it's the special kind. If my uncle or other cousin is there, it's not that bad cause they can help her but when she's alone that's the worst. Sigh.
Especially as when he grew older, he grew taller. But he remained super skinny cause he's on a milk diet. He can't eat solid food ):
I really don't know how my aunt does it. I'd be devastated if I was in her place. But I guess she figured she has to stay strong for her family so that they can have a solid relationship with each other and help each other out.
Recently, my cousin was hospitalized cause he was having breathing problems. Bronchitis if I'm not wrong. Apparently when kids like him reach a certain age, things like these happen and their bodies start breaking down and you know, it's almost the end for them. Sigh. According to the doctor, it's a miracle he even got to 16 years of age.
I got a few of my cousins together to go visit my cousin together. Really nice to see how supportive my whole family is. Especially with the cousins getting together and going. After all, he's around our age. All of us are always whining about our lives and taking things for granted and yet Timmy(that's my cousin) never ever got to do the things we all got to do. Like walk, talk , play games and all that stuff. So yeah, huge wake up call for all of us.
When we went, my aunt was there. She's there every single day, from opening time til closing time. Unless she has to do chores. Really hope everything gets better. He's still in hospital btw.
Hope my aunt can continue being strong. Really awesome woman. Wish I could be like her and possess the strength she has.

Looks damn cute and exciting right! I'm a sucker for Disney movies. Only the cartoon kind. Not those with like Hannah Montana or Selena Gomez and all.
The first Disney movie I watched was the Lion King and I think I was only 2 or 3? And apparently I dropped my chopchop(that's what I call pacifiers) in the cinema and I wouldn't stop crying until my parents found it. And they couldn't find it cause it was so dark so we had to leave early ):
Okay, i feel so excited for Brave now ): 3 more weeks!! WOOHOO!!
