3rd July 2013

Froyo which was being sold in school for $3. The marshmallows were so-so only.

We ended school pretty early. (our 3hr tutorial lasted less than an hr cause we were doing a mock roleplay and my group rushed to be the first team to present).

Initially we were supposed to go for the K-BBQ but. . . we left school around 1:50 and the BBQ ends at 3 so yeah, a bit no time to eat hor? So Dav suggested going to this new ramen place in Tamp 1.

It's where the NYDC used to be, at the 2nd floor. So yeah, it's pretty new so it's clean and stuff. For those people sitting at the middle tables, they're given a basket to put their bags in, which is pretty good because if you put them on the floor, your bags may get dirty and if you leave them on your laps, they'll be no space for you to enjoy your meal.

So apparently there's a lunch promo going on. Idk if it's a fixed thing or because it just opened or because of GSS.

Anyway it cost around $17 for a main dish, a side dish and refillable cold/hot green tea. All of us ordered the same main dish. Can't remember the name of it now but it's their speciality.

I got the pork chop side dish. Initially I wanted the prawn tempura but . . . they only give one piece ): That's damn stingy lor but oh well.
There's also gyoza, fried chicken, towgay and so on.

Apparently only HS and I were lucky to have egg in our ramen. The other 3 of them didn't and they were angry so they asked the staff for the egg. HAHAHA. Honestly, the egg isn't even nice. It's normal and not like the special egg that normally comes with ramen.

It really felt pretty good to hang out with my clique. It's been such a long time since we've all gone out together and talked nonsense.

After lunch, we walked around at Watsons and Sasa and then we headed across the road to Tampines Mall because they were having a Jap food fair and I wanted to eat Hokkaido ice cream. It was my first time and I was craving for either green tea ice cream or Starbucks Green Tea Cream frappe.
I ordered a single scoop of Green tea ice cream and it cost $3.50 I think. But it tasted really awesome. I could eat it everyday, I swear.

After more walking around, we all went our separate ways home. Hope we get the chance to have a clique outing more often. We're pretty swamped with our projects especially since we're in Yr 3 now so everything's more stressful. Plus we're supposed to plan an event as a class. *pulls out hair*
