Art After Dark @ Gillman Barracks With Love

Thursday, February 02, 2017

FINALLY visited Gillman Barracks last month, and it was for Art After Dark, an event organised during Singapore Arts Week. We had been talking about visiting Gillman for a few months now but we never really had a reason to or. . . we were just too lazy to do it even though Amos lives so near it.

Overall it was a good experience. Sure, we didn't understand majority of the art pieces, but that didn't stop us from coming up with our own interpretations and having fun. We even tried sourcing areas which we thought would be good to hold a wedding or have a photoshoot. LEL.

Is it counting our chickens before they hatch?

Ending of with my fav picture of the night <3

I would probably like to come back and visit this place in the daytime, preferably when there's lesser people around. I think they have permanent exhibits as well. And this whole place is ideal for you to take insta-worthy shots. It was a bit hard to take proper shots during the event. The amount of people that kept walking into my frame drove me nuts that I just gave up on taking photos after awhile.

Well. . . abrupt ending.

Bye!

xoxo
